Course enrollment

• By enrolling, you agree to follow these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
• Enrollment is open only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
• You must provide accurate and complete information during enrollment.
• Class dates will be announced by the alden.social team during the scheduled student onboarding call.

Course content

• alden.social may provide access to course materials including videos, documents, quizzes and assignments.
• Course content is for personal use only. It may not be shared, distributed or reproduced without prior written consent from alden.social.

Course duration and access

• Access to course materials will be provided for the duration specified upon enrollment.
• alden.social may modify, update or remove course content without prior notice.

Payment and refunds

• Full payment for the course is required at the time of enrollment.
• Course fees are final and non-refundable after payment, except only where a refund is mandatorily required by applicable law or expressly approved through an Authorized Written Clarification under clause 13.

Course completion and certification

• To receive a certificate of completion, you must meet the course requirements specified by alden.social.
• The completion certificate is issued solely by alden.social and is not an official AWS certification.

Attendance and batch responsibility

It is your responsibility to attend the classes. You are entitled to attend only the batch for which you enrolled.

Students who fail to attend for any reason will not be compensated, including through a batch switch.

Conduct and participation

• You must behave professionally and respectfully toward instructors and other participants.
• Harassment, discrimination and disruptive behaviour are prohibited. alden.social may revoke course access without refund in such cases.

Intellectual property

• All course materials and content are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
• You may not use, copy, modify or distribute course materials without explicit written permission from alden.social.

Technical requirements

• You are responsible for ensuring that you have the hardware, software and connectivity required to access and participate in the course.
• alden.social is not responsible for technical issues arising from your internet connection or hardware.

Limitation of liability

• alden.social will make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current content but does not guarantee its completeness or accuracy.
• To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, alden.social will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss resulting from participation in the course. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
• To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the recording-access period is fixed at six calendar months beginning on the course commencement date and expires automatically exactly six calendar months after that date. No interpretation, temporary downtime, application or platform outage, maintenance, device problem, internet or connectivity issue, delayed use, failure to access, or other interruption will pause, restart or extend that validity period, or entitle the learner to compensatory access, credit, batch transfer or extension. Any exception must be confirmed through an Authorized Written Clarification under clause 13.

Governing law and jurisdiction

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India and the applicable laws in force in Tamil Nadu.
• Subject to any mandatory jurisdiction or remedy available under applicable consumer law, disputes arising from these Terms are subject to the courts and competent forums having jurisdiction in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu.

Policy scope, questions and written clarifications

• These Terms, the No Refund Policy, the Privacy Policy, the applicable course page, the payment or checkout page and any Authorized Written Clarification together govern your enrollment. Headings and summaries are for convenience and do not replace the operative wording.
• If a matter is not expressly stated, appears incomplete or is reasonably capable of more than one interpretation, you must raise the question through the official alden.social WhatsApp channel before enrolling, paying or relying on an assumption.
• WhatsApp messages are an enquiry channel only. A clarification, exception, promise, waiver, representation or amendment is legally binding on alden.social only when it is expressly confirmed in an email sent by an authorised alden.social representative from an email address ending in @alden.social and identifies the relevant learner, course or batch (an “Authorized Written Clarification”).
• No personal interpretation, inference, assumption, oral statement, telephone call, social-media message, advertisement, screenshot, statement by another learner or instructor, or unconfirmed WhatsApp exchange modifies these Terms or creates a refund, batch-transfer, access, recording or other entitlement.
• An Authorized Written Clarification prevails only for the learner, course, batch and issue it expressly addresses. All remaining provisions continue unchanged. Silence, delay, acceptance of payment, course access, attendance or a failure to enforce a provision once does not amount to consent, waiver or a continuing exception.
• These policies are intended to cover previous, current and future course batches and enrollments to the extent permitted by applicable law. For a previous enrollment, the version presented or accepted at the time of payment continues to govern accrued contractual rights; a later update may clarify wording or procedures and apply prospectively, but will not retrospectively remove a non-waivable statutory right or impose a new material obligation without valid consent.
• If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or severed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.
